The girls and I went to Hopkinsville after Christmas. The boys had gone on their trip to Utah to go skiing. We had a great time. The girls loved the cats and dogs and even a hamster??
Grandpa had bought this cute little hamster for Cody and Garrett but they could not get it back home with them. (Last year we got a snake) Callie took this picture. I thought it turned out so cute. I hear that the hamster did find a happy home.
This is poco the dog. Also known as polke dot (emphasis on the e) Yes, you are seeing a dog in grandma's house. She only comes in occasionally and immediately falls down to have you rub her belly and then falls asleep.

The girls had picked out ornaments to take to grandma and grandpa. Before we left home Ashlyn's ornament, which was a snow globe with a cardinal in it, (she knows grandpa loves birds) got broken. She was heartbroken. While we were there we saw a cardinal ornament at one of the stores. She wanted to get it for grandpa. He loved it. You can see the bird on the plant in the background.
